Beatrice Giampaoli
Presentazione
Beatrice Giampaoli graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Sapienza University of Rome in 2006. Alongside her academic path, she developed an early and deep interest in complementary medicine and holistic disciplines.
In 2005, she completed a three-year specialisation in homeopathy and homotoxicology at the Scuola Superiore di Omeopatia SMB Italia, followed by continuing education courses in paediatric homeopathy.
Her training expanded further with a diploma in Shiatsu Therapy from the “Shiatsu Do” school in Rome and two years of Tai Chi study under master Liron May. From 1999, she also attended a three-year course in Naturopathy at Rudy Lanza’s school in Rome.
In earlier years, she explored a wide range of health and personal growth techniques: in 1997 she attended first and second level craniosacral technique courses with Michael Shea, and in 1998 she completed an annual course on Bach Flowers in Switzerland. In 1996 she attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina (USA), where she took specialist courses in Eastern culture, Buddhism, Hinduism and Shamanism.
From 1996 to 2007 she lived between East and West, encountering several spiritual and yoga masters, including Pattabhi Jois in Mysore and Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. In Los Angeles she studied Kundalini Yoga with Maya Fiennes. In Rome she practised Ashtanga Yoga for eight years at Lino Miele’s school, and subsequently obtained a diploma in Contemporary Yoga at Roberto Milletti’s Odaka Yoga school.
Over the years she developed a particular passion for Hatha Yoga and the Iyengar method, integrating these experiences with her Tai Chi practice.
From 2008 she dedicated herself to developing a new approach to holistic yoga: the VitalaYoga® method. In 2011 she began the final phase of this work through interdisciplinary research conducted alongside professionals from various fields, including Pilates, psychotherapy, complementary medicine, dance and philosophy.
Her yoga training is defined by a broad and integrated vision, born from the synthesis of numerous experiences and disciplines. From this research emerged the VitalaYoga® method — an original and multidisciplinary approach designed to foster the holistic wellbeing of the individual.
Dr. Beatrice Giampaoli’s professional profile is distinguished by a strong eclecticism, combining medical knowledge, body practices and Eastern disciplines to build personalised pathways oriented towards balance, health and overall wellbeing.
